Donald Ray Meyer, 54, Longwood, passed away peacefully on Sunday, December 6, 2020 at Orlando Regional Medical Center following a courageous 6-year battle with Cardiomyopathy. He was surrounded by his family.

He was born October 24, 1966 to Thomas and Ruth Meyer. He was preceded in death by his father and brother Tommy.

Don's career was in the Hospitality Industry in Central Florida, but he most enjoyed his last role at The Legacy Club at Alaqua Lakes Managing the Men's Club. He was loved in the community and was known for his outgoing personality and always lending a hand to help a friend in need.

Don loved his family. He is survived by his wife of 19 years, Julie (Ashley), his two sons, Thomas Charles, and Jonathan Alfred, mother, Ruth, stepmother, Robin Meyer, stepsister Jennifer Edwards.

He enjoyed going fishing with his boys, cooking, and watching football with family and friends.

A memorial service will be held at a later date.
