Donald Simmonds, 87, of The Villages, FL passed away September 21, 2014. Mr. Simmonds was born on May 15, 1927 in Auburn, NY. Donald was a veteran of the U.S. Army serving as Staff Sergeant in WWII. He earned his Bachelors and Masters degrees from Hobart College in New York. Mr. Simmonds was a retired Spanish and French teacher to high school students. He is survived by his niece Shirley Keith and her husband John.
