Spencer, Donald 1939-2018.  Donald J. Spencer, age 79, passed away Wednesday, April 25th, in Summerfield, FL.  Born on February 12th, 1939 to the late Jack and Emza (Halterman) Spencer, he is a graduate of West High School. Don worked for many years at White-Westinghouse and retired from Whirlpool Corporation in 1998.  In 2004 he realized his dream of moving to Florida, where he and his wife enjoyed 14 wonderful years.  He loved golf, Corvettes, collecting model trains, and his cat "D.J."  He was a member of Dell Webb Spruce Creek Corvette Club.  On October 12th, 2015, Don achieved a hole-in-one at Eagle Ridge Golf Club, Summerfield, FL.  He will be dearly missed by wife Patricia, daughters Theresa (Bill) Balthaser, Tamara Spencer, Lisa (David) Long; step daughters Sharon (Gary) Sadler, and Janet (Terry) Abaray; brothers John (Sandra) Spencer and Gary (Jeri) Spencer; 11 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren.  Those who wish may donate to Alzheimer's Research at The Ohio State University: Supporting Brain & Spine Innovations | Ohio State Medical Center .  A private family gathering will be held at a later date.
