Donald was born June 27, 1936 in Flint, Michigan to Edward and Gladys (Beardsley) Lintz. He passed away on June 8, 2026 in The Villages, Florida.

As a graduate of Howe Military Academy, a proud Army veteran and Michigan native, interment is being requested for Great Lakes National Cemetery.

Donald joined the The Villages in 1983 (Orange Blossom Gardens at that time) as one of the original sales representatives; he experienced great joy and satisfaction from his relationships with co-workers and residents as the community thrived and prospered.

He is survived by his children, Christy Richmond (Gary) of The Villages, Florida, Michael Marchig of Mt. Morris, Michigan, and their brother Andrew Marchig (Karol) of Clio, Michigan; grandchildren, Chad Richmond (Sandee), Jordan Richmond (Heather), Beth Garofalo (Frank); great grandchildren, Kal Richmond, Rees Richmond, Zann Richmond, Evyn Richmond, Ayden Garofalo and Gavyn Garofalo; brother, Lee Lintz (Doris) of Au Gres, Michigan and Sister-in-law, Marlene Lintz of Flushing, Michigan; several nieces and nephews.

Donald was preceded in death by his parents, Edward Lintz and Gladys (Beardsley) Lintz Harris, and brothers, Ronald Lintz and Edward Lintz, Jr.
