Nokomis, FL: Donna passed away peacefully at the age of 79 on Monday, February 14, 2022. Predeceased by her parents, a sister and her brothers. She is survived by her husband of 47 years, Brian; her son, Timothy Symonds of FL; daughters, Laurie Gabello (Chris) of NV and Sherry (Herb) Hicks of NY; her grandchildren, Seneca Symonds of FL; Joseph DiProjetto of NV; Jenna Gabello of NV; Ben Hicks (Brittany) of Indiana; Rachel Bohin (Matt) of NY; Hannah Hicks of NY and Peter Hicks (Bryn) of SC; and  great-grandchildren Taije Symonds, Kaylin and Aaron Hicks and Charis Bohin.  She is survived by her sister, Darlene Morgan of NY and sister-in-law, Roselyn Hamlin of NY as well as many dear nieces, nephews and cousins who recall fond memories and time spent with her. She was born and raised in Brockport, NY where she began her family. She retired early from General Motors which enabled her and Brian to travel in their 5 ^th wheel as well as travel to Europe and relocate to FL. She owned 2 restaurants and they both had a keen eye for antiques. She loved BINGO and going to the casinos. She was a caretaker both for family and others; her generous spirit was felt by many and she will be dearly missed.
