Donna Lee Kisbany (nee Johnson), age 79, of Ormond Beach, FL passed away peacefully at home on Sunday, December 28, 2025 after a lengthy illness. Donna was the devoted wife of 11 years to William, the loving mother to her son R Kearns (Tricia) of Ocoee, FL, and proud Nana to her granddaughter Bailey.
Prior to her retirement, Donna was the Auxiliary Services Manager at Advent Health in Daytona Beach. In her role, she combined her love of people and travel as the leader of the health system's "Senior Friends" and volunteer programs where she met many lifelong friends. As the manager of the hospital's gift shop, she contributed to making many patients' days a little brighter.
A graduate of Framingham State University, Donna loved gardening and achieved the rank of Master Gardener through the University of Florida; reading and sharing favorite books with friends; meeting regularly with her Investment Club; and taking long walks near the water.
Family was very important to Donna and she enjoyed annual visits with her sister, Susan Penney of Marshfield, MA and regular phone calls with her sister-in-law Kathy Johnson of Cumberland-Foreside, ME and her favorite cousin, Florrie Mulvey of Raleigh, NC. She also holds a special place in the hearts of her nieces and nephew. Donna was predeceased by her parents, Whitman and Lillian (nee Wright) Johnson; her brother, Allan Johnson; and her nephew, Thomas "TJ" Penney Jr.
A celebration of Donna's life will be held at Baldwin Brothers Funeral Home, 1185 W Granada Blvd #11, Ormond Beach, FL on Saturday, January 24, 2026 from 10 a.m. – 2 p.m., with the funeral service starting at 11:00 a.m. All are welcome.
In lieu of flowers, donations are welcome in her nephew's memory to the Thomas "TJ" Penney Jr. Memorial Scholarship Fund, Rockland Trust Bank, 31 Snow Road, Marshfield MA 02050 or to the American Cancer Society in Donna's memory.
