Penn, Donna "Dede" K. (Lawson) 74, of The Villages, FL (formerly of Xenia, OH), passed away unexpectedly Wednesday, October 18th. She was preceded in death by her parents Glenna and Donald Lawson and her life partner of 23 years, Gary Sampsell. Dede received her Bachelor's Degree from Wright State University and worked at KeyBank for 37 years retiring as a Trust Real Estate Officer before moving to Gatlinburg, TN. Dede loved reading, photography and margaritas. Dede leaves to cherish her memory her sister Linda (Dale) Ryker; nephew Derek (Amanda) Irvin; niece Brooke (Chris) Collins and children Kayla, Morgan, Kaydence, Karter and Karlee; niece Amber (Rob) Mansfield and children Robbie and Rylie; stepdaughter Megan (Garrett) Hammermeister; grandchildren Sawyer and Eian; sister in-law Gail (Rudy) Crain; and other beloved family and friends. The family will have a private celebration of life for Dede in The Villages, FL. Her ashes will be spread in The Smoky Mountains in April.
