Donna Marie Romano, age 63, adoring wife to husband Thomas Romano, loving mother of two, and Grammy to three tragically passed away on March 13, 2023, in Daytona Beach, Florida.

Born in 1960 in Newton, Massachusetts to the late Francis and Dorothy Healy, Donna was the middle child with an older sister, Linda, and a younger brother, Michael.

Donna and her husband Thomas married in 1986 and enjoyed 37 years of marriage together. They lived in several states across the country and had two children, Anthony, and Amanda, before settling down in Holly Springs, North Carolina in 1996. The family made many memories on the beach in Ponce Inlet, Florida where they had planned to spend retirement.

Donna was an intelligent, caring, and patient woman. She always looked at the brighter side of things in life and didn't have a mean bone in her body. Donna was an avid country music fan and absolutely adored Kenny Chesney. But her greatest love was her family. She especially loved her role as "Grammy." A true angel on earth, Donna was always thinking of others and would do anything she could to help. She taught everyone the true meaning of kindness and patience.

Donna will be lovingly remembered by her husband Thomas Romano; son Anthony Romano and wife Lindsey; daughter Amanda Larson and husband Collin; grandchildren Duncan Romano (6), Henleigh Romano (4) and Ellie Larson (11 mo); brother Michael Healy and wife Kerin; as well as numerous relatives and friends.

We know that God is pleased to have one of his kind and generous angels back in his arms, where she belongs. She will be dearly missed.
