Doris Caroline Curtin, age 87, of Altamonte Springs passed away Saturday August 27, 2011. She was born November 11,1923 in Waltham , Massachusetts to John Cameron Frye and Caroline Elizabeth Johnson Frye. She graduated from Waltham High School in 1942, and worked at the Waltham Watch Factory making bomb sights for the government during WWll. Her first husband, Lloyd Wilmont Wade was killed in an aviation accident during the war.She married  Robert James Curtin in 1946. She was Lutheran by faith,  enjoyed sewing and made "Raggedy Ann&Andy" dolls for "everyone". She also volunteered at English Estates. Preceded in death by her husbands Lloyd and Robert,and a daughter Karen Irene Jones, she leaves to cherish her memory her daughter Marlene(William) Shepherd, grandchildren Lisa Marie Pezzella, Stephen John Shepherd, Tanya Lee Gibeau, Megan Denise Webb, Cheryl Ann Mitchell and James Arnold Jones, and great grandchildren Andi Shepherd, Madison Pezzella, Alex Shepherd, Jacob Pezzella, Katelyn Webb and Charlotte Gibeau. There are no life celebrations planned at this time.
