Dorothy “Dottie” Ann Barr (Hall), 79, passed away peacefully on Saturday, October 31, 2026, surrounded by her family.

Dottie was a beloved mother, sister, aunt, and friend whose life was filled with family and cherished memories that brought her happiness.

Dottie is survived by her three daughters, Tracy Barr, Karin Norwood, and Toby Covell; her sisters, June Metta and Lynne Galligan; and many other family members and friends who will forever hold her memory close.

Dottie enjoyed life’s simple pleasures, whether spending time in her garden, knitting something special, or enjoying a ride on her bicycle. She found happiness in creating things with her hands, staying active, and appreciating the beauty around her. Above all, she treasured her family and the memories they shared.

Dottie will be dearly missed, but the love she shared and the memories she leaves behind will forever remain in the hearts of those who knew and loved her.

Her knitting needles may be still, her garden may grow without her, and her bicycle may be at rest, but the love she planted and the memories she created will continue to live on in the hearts of those she leaves behinnd.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Alzheimer's Association in Dottie’s memory.
