Life Celebration for Dorothy F Coleman, 84, New Smyrna Beach who died Thursday, November 29, 2012 will be 10:00 AM Tuesday, December 4 at Baldwin Brothers Heritage Chapel 1 North Causeway New Smyrna Beach. The family will receive friends on Monday from 6 to 8 PM. Dot was born in Madison, Tennessee. She came to New Smyrna Beach in 1957. She enjoyed bowling, crocheting and cared for 21 children through the Daytona Beach Children's Home Society. Before launching a career in real estate she worked at Bank of New Smyrna and First Federal Savings and Loan. She was owner and broker of Meadow Real Estate Company of New Smyrna Beach. She leaves to cherish her memory her two children Dan Coleman and Carole Coleman Hura and husband David both of New Smyrna Beach, two sisters Virginia Smith of Madison, TN and Linda and husband Jerry Fox of New Smyrna Beach, five grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren, one great great grandchild and many nieces and nephews.
