Dorothy Mae Gratzer Hanna, a woman of unwavering strength and determination, passed away peacefully on March 7, 2025, at the age of 82. Born on September 24, 1942, in Sarver, Pennsylvania, Dorothy lived a full and vibrant life, marked by her dedication to family and her active involvement in her community.

For 64 years, Dorothy was devotedly married to her beloved husband, Leo Hanna, who survives her. Together, they built a life filled with love and cherished memories. Dorothy's legacy extends to her daughter, Denise Grennell, and son-in-law, Brice Grennell. She leaves behind a loving circle of grandchildren: Jacob, Leon, and Shawn Gariepy; Bryce and Dylan Grennell; Kristi Gross; and Trisha Newsome. She was predeceased by her brothers, Raymond and Donald Gratzer.

Dorothy earned an Associate's degree in Business from Jones College in Orlando, Florida, and applied her skills throughout her career in various fields, including banking, insurance, and medical billing. Her strong work ethic was a testament to her character.

Beyond her professional life, Dorothy was a highly active member of several fraternal organizations, including the Elks, Moose, Eagles, VFW Auxiliary, and American Legion Auxiliary, demonstrating her commitment to community and camaraderie.

Dorothy's strength, determination, and unwavering spirit will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her. Her memory will live on in the hearts of her family and friends
