Dorothy Herringdine Henson, 83 New Smyrna Beach FL died Sunday, February 3, 2013. Dorothy was born in Johnson County Georgia. She retired after working for many years with the State of Georgia. She moved to Florida in 2001 from Dublin, Georgia. Her family recalled her love for reading, games, walking and her involvement with First Baptist Church New Smyrna Beach. She leaves to cherish her memory a daughter Marcia and Peter Shipps of Port Orange FL, granddaughters Morgan and Ryn Shipps and nephews and nieces. She was preceded in death by her husband Ed Henson and brother J M Herringdine. Services and burial will be in Georgia.
