Dorothy E. Lafrinere, 96, of Port Orange, FL passed away on March 24, 2016 at the Port Orange Nursing and Rehab. She was born on February 11, 1920 in Cheboygan, MI to the late William and Edna (Stahl) Oswald. Dorothy met her beloved husband, Herman, at the age of 18 and a year later, in 1939, they married. Together they had 4 beautiful children, Michael, Richard, Patricia, and Thomas. Dorothy also has 2 sisters, Thelma and Luella. She decided to help out with the family financial needs as the children grew and began working for Chrysler cars in her late 20's. She retired after 34 years of service. Dorothy enjoyed craft classes, crocheting, and outing. Arrangements are in the care and trust of Baldwin Brothers Funeral and Cremations, Port Orange, FL.
