Dorothy (Doti) Yeager Bush, age 79, went home to be with our Lord on Tuesday afternoon, August 4, 2026. She was the daughter of the late Benjamin Virgil and Jewell Iva Yeager.

She was born September 16, 1946, in Urbana, IL, but had made her home in Central Florida since 1958.

Doti is preceded in death by her son Steve Bush. She is survived by her son Michael Bush, five grandchildren, two great-grandchildren, sisters Bobbie Yeager of Orlando and Judi Waddell of Raleigh, NC, and several nieces and nephews.

Doti worked as a bookkeeper in the Orange County School System. After she retired, she especially enjoyed spending time in her yard, planting flowers and decorating with her own creations. She had a very creative imagination and had always loved working with all kinds of arts and crafts.

For many years her constant companion was Abby, a much-loved Corgi that had been a gift from her son, Steve, just before he passed.

Family and friends will say goodbye to Doti with a graveside ceremony at 11 AM on August 21, 2026, at Greenwood Cemetery in Orlando. In lieu of flowers, she would have asked for donations to the American Diabetes Association or to Cornerstone Hospice, who provided wonderful care for her.
