DOUGLAS BRADFORD FISH, 64, of Orlando, Florida, passed away on April 30, 2022, at the AdventHealth Hospice in Altamonte Springs following an extended illness. He is now an angel in heaven. He was born in Miami, Florida on July 22, 1957, to Muriel and Anthony Fish. Douglas moved to Orlando, Florida in the late 1990's, and made it his home with his life partner, Richard Brady. Douglas loved to make people laugh and always "found the funny" in any situation. He spent his life helping people and worked at Baptist Hospital in Miami for approximately 30 years. He volunteered his time helping and supporting AIDS and cancer patients and the homeless. Douglas was also an interior designer and a web designer. Even in his last days, he was planning and designing his room. Douglas loved animals, music, entertainment, and travel.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Muriel and Anthony Fish, and his life-long partner, Richard Brady. He is survived by his sisters, Toni-Jean Fish of Miami, Florida, Lori-Jay Iturriaga (Manny) of Miami, Florida, Jodi-Lee Sayeg (Randy) of Macon, Georgia, Jeri-Sue Moffitt (Jim) of Lake City, Florida, and Judy Fish-Grassi (Jim) of Sarasota, Florida; and his nieces and nephews, Robert Gonzalez, Heather Gonzalez, Michael Lundstrom, Shane Heyder, Kristin Heyder, Brittany Heyder, Robert Sahland, Rex Saip, AJ Saip, Kevin Saip, Douglas Sayeg, James Moffitt, Jr. and Christopher Moffitt.
A celebration of life will be held at Christ Fellowship Chapel, 8900 SW 168 th Street, Palmetto Bay, Florida, on Saturday, June 4, 2022, at 11:00 a.m.
In lieu of flowers, you can donate to a local homeless shelter in honor of Douglas's memory.
