Duane Allen Sturgess of Lady Lake Fl. passed away suddenly August 8, 2017. Duane was born in Findlay, Ohio on April 13, 1963. He grew up in Michigan and moved to Florida in 2002.

He is survived by his parents, Chet & Linda Sturgess, brothers Brian (Jen) Sturgess, & Aaron (Tony) Sturgess & many nieces & nephews. He was employed with Morgan and Morgan.

He was a  member of the Sons of the American Legion, Post 347, of Lady Lake,Fl. and a volunteer for Make a Wish Foundation, the Boggy Creek Foundation, & One Blood of Fl. & alsoa member of W.O.C.E. Duane was an Organ Donor for TransLife, for passing on the Gift Of Life. Duane was a kind and generous person, always putting Family & Friends first. He hada great sense of humor, & gave the Best Hugs. He  loved all sports, especially baseball, and was an avid follower of all the Michigan teams. He loved watching the games on  Sundays with his Dad. He had the Best laugh & Beautiful smile. He was a Beloved Son & Brother, will be Greatly Missed, and Never Forgotten.There will be a "Celebration of Duane's Life" on Sunday, August 27, 2017, @ 3 pm, @ American Legion Post 347,@ 699 W.
