Eber Edward Simpson III

He is survived by his loving wife of 40 years, Lynnda Schmied Simpson, his children Eber Edward IV and Caryn Anne. He is also survived by Michael and Lisa Simpson, Thomas and Brenda Simpson, William Simpson and Suzanne Gherardini. He was preceded in death by his parents, Eber Edward, Jr, and Mary Simpson and sister Kathy Simpson Rolfes.

He was born October 15, 1951 in San Antonio, Texas where his father was stationed. He graduated from Augustinian Academy in St. Louis in 1970 and from Meramec Community College with Associates in Applied Sciences/Nursing. He had additional certifications of Critical Care Registered Nurse and Certified Case Manager.

His wife will remember him as a loving and compassionate man. Eber loved to laugh and tease his family. He also loved to argue about anything with his wife and children. He tried hard to pretend he was a tough guy but anyone who met him knew his gentle soul within minutes after meeting him. He did not make friends easily but when he did, he made friends for life.

His children will remember that no matter how difficult the situation at hand, he always sought a solution or tried to offer a better perspective that it would get better.

At Eber's request, there is a private viewing for his family. His Celebration of Life will be February 10, 2021 from 1 to 3 PM at Baldwin Brothers Funeral Home on Bichara Blvd, The Villages FL.
