Obituary
Edith Benko Brosig was born in Budapest, Hungary on November 27, 1925. Edith died on May 21, 2024 at the age of 98 at Hope Hospice in Cape Coral.
Edith, her husband Ralph and daughter Rita escaped the communist takeover of Hungary in 1956 and were relocated to the United States, in the Washington, DC area.
Edith married Heinz Brosig in 1975 and they relocated to Cape Coral, FL in 1983. They enjoyed boating, going to the opera and were active members of the German American Club.
Edith is survived by her daughter Rita Farley, son in law Mark Farley and sister Katy Schwoy and her family who remained in Hungary.
