Edmund James Heaton passed away peacefully after a courageous battle with COPD. Born in Trenton, New Jersey, he relocated to Florida after having served in the US Navy. He received his degree in Horticulture which afforded him positions as Horticulturist and Arborist at Walt Disney World and Universal Studios Orlando where he was deeply admired by his colleagues. He was a perfectionist when it came to caring for that which God blessed us – trees, plants and flowers.

His hobbies were fishing and gardening which he found both relaxing and challenging. If we couldn't find him, he was either in the garage making fishing poles or in the backyard tending to his plants.

His family was loved deeply and home was his sanctuary. His faith in God never wavered. He knew his forever home would be in Heaven.

He is survived by his wife, Lynn, daughters Nicole and Lauren, son Ryan, sister Carol and brother Bob and many nieces and nephews.
