Edna (Cartwright) Paglia, 89, of Port Orange (formerly of Derby, CT), passed away on Friday afternoon, January 17, 2020, in Port Orange, Florida.  Born on July 7, 1930 in New Haven, CT, Edna was the daughter of Marie Swain and William Cartwright.

Edna relocated to Port Orange, FL in 1990 where she finished her over forty year career with Kmart.   She enjoyed watching black and white movies, cooking her old family recipes and spending time with her family.

Edna was preceded in death by her parents, Marie and William; husband Bartholomew; as well as her 8 siblings and a grandson Sean.  Those who remain to cherish her memory are her three children Antoinette (Paglia) Miller and her husband Ron of Santa Clarita, CA, Bartholomew Paglia Jr. of South Daytona, FL, Jacquelyn (Paglia) Persico and her husband Ray of Port Orange, FL; her beloved niece Sister Monica Paul OP of Sarasota, FL.  She is also survived by her 5 grandchildren, and their spouses and her 9 great-grandchildren.

She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and Auntie.

The family has requested in lieu of flowers donations to her favorite charity the St. Jude Children's Hospital.
