Edward Victor (Ted) Burchill, USNR (Ret)

Edward Victor (Ted) Burchill, age 99, passed away on August 26, 2017. He is preceded in death by his beloved wife of 73 years, Anna Mae, who passed away this past January.  He is survived by his two daughters, Linda Murphy of Sanford, Florida and Ann Louise Owens and husband Steve of Wilmington, NC, two grandchildren, Damon Tate and Shannon Murphy, and two great grandchildren, Colette and Micah Tate.

Ted proudly served his country in the US Navy reaching the rank of Commander and was a Pearl Harbor survivor.  He was aboard the USS West Virginia when Pearl Harbor was attacked on December 7, 1941.

His and Anna Mae's ashes will be buried together in Reading, PA on September 25, 2017 which would have been their 74th wedding anniversary.
