Edward Masters Gentry, 83, of Estero, Florida, passed away on January 16, 2020 at home with his loving family by his side.

He was born on May 25, 1936, in Old Hickory, Tennessee. He was in the Marine Corps. He attended Cumberland College in Lebanon, Tennessee. He loved life and wanted everyone around him to be happy. His passions were golfing and fishing. He loved spending time with his grandchildren, going on vacations, and going on adventures.

Edward was a loving husband, father and grandfather.

Edward is survived by his wife, Diane Martin Gentry, whom he married on March 31, 1966; son, Aaron Martin Gentry (Kathy) of Huntley, Illinois; his daughter, Kelly Marie Koziol (Eric) of Eureka, Missouri; and proud grandfather to Jake, Morgan, Collin, and Hailey Koziol, and Emma and Jack Gentry.
