Edward L Hempfield, 82 years young went home on Sunday, September 22, 2013. He served our nation in the US Navy in Korea. He moved to Orlando in 1972 and enjoyed a career with Walt Disney World as a landscaper. He leaves to cherish his memory his high school sweetheart, soulmate and wife of almost 60 years Patricia (nee. Troy), sons Michael (Carol) of St Augustine, John (Julie) of New Hampshire, daughter Mary (Steve) Cochran of Downington, PA, Catherine (Kady) Hempfield of Orlando, sister Nancy (Donald) Kelley of Waynesboro, VA, five grandchildren and one great grandchild. Memorial Mass will be 8:30 AM Monday, October 7 at St Paul's Catholic Community Church 1302 Sunshine Avenue Leesburg followed by Life Celebration at the Holy Family Community Room at the church. Committal will be at Florida National Cemetery.
