Edward Gerald Hodge, 72, of Ft. Myers, FL passed away on December 11, 2019 at his residence. He was born on September 24, 1947 in Huntington, WVA to the late Chester and Virginia (Myers) Hodge. Edward was a member of the Southwest FL Church of Christ, where he served as a Deacon. He enjoyed photography and riding motorcycles. Edward work as a Corrections Officer, retiring after 25 years from Desoto County. He also worked as a Grocery Warehouse Loader in Ohio. Edward is survived by his loving wife, Erma C Hodge; his son, David Hodge; his son, Johnathan Hodge and his wife Lis; his daughter, Elizabeth Hodge; his brother, Richard Hodge and his wife Cheryl; his 3 grandchildren; his 1 great grandchild; his brothers in law, Gary (Cindy) Crites, William Crites, and James (Connie) Crites; and his sister in law, Ellen Gray. A Memorial Service celebrating the life of Edward will be held on Saturday, December 14, 2019 at 11:00 am at the Southwest FL Church of Christ, 15248 S. Tamiami Trail, Ft. Myers, FL 33908.
