Edward Lee Smith, Jr., 73, of Cape Coral, FL, formerly of Millsboro, DE, passed away on August 22, 2019 at the Gulf Coast Medical Center. He was born on July 20, 1946 in Philadelphia, PA to the late Edward Smith, Sr. and Mary (Dawson) Smith. Edward worked as a Bus Driver, and he enjoyed fishing, classic cars, and was an avid NASCAR fan. He is survived by his wife, Mary Smith; his son, Scott Smith and his wife Pamela; his son, Michael Smith and his wife Cindy Gonzales; his son, Edward Smith III; his son Jerame Bowman; his loving sister, Patricia Smith Cavanaugh; his numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Edward was preceded in death by his sister, Linda Smith. He was an active member in his Millsboro community. Arrangements are under the care and trust of Baldwin Brothers Funeral and Cremation Society, Ft. Myers, FL.
