Edward W. Dorminey, 79, of Summerfield passed away peacefully at his home on November 7, 2016.   He was born to very loving parents Mary Ida Dollarhyde and David Dorminey on February 19, 1937.  In 1989 he and his wife Paulette moved to Ocala from Mobile, Alabama.  Edward loved working but especially spending time with Family and friends.   He is survived by his loving wife Paullette of 52 years; daughters, Pamela Renee (Pat) George, Elizabeth (Garrett) Holley, and Mary Etter Dorminey; 6 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren.   He will be missed by many and the family asks that donations be made in his name to Hospice of Marion County or a charity of your liking.
