March 7, 1937 – November 4, 2023
Edwin D. Armbruster (86 years) of Ocala, Florida, passed away peacefully on November 4, 2023.

Ed served in the Air Force (1957-1961) and credited that time with getting an education that served him throughout his life. After the AF, he was employed with Martin Marietta Company in Orlando, Florida (1963) and from there his life took off. He was employed by the Panama Canal Company in the Canal Zone, Rep of Panama in October 1964. He was involved in the community, and a leader in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. His proudest accomplishment was assisting the LDS Church in locating a place for a temple to be built in Panama. The temple stands today in Cardenas, Panama, and can be seen by ships coming into the Panama Canal. His next major feat was learning to fly a small airplane and becoming a Gold Star Instructor. He has written several books about flying. The latest being "Unusual Attitude" Flight Instructor Memoirs.
