Obituary
On the first of March 2023 our loving father and grandfather Edwin Coates Sr. peacefully departed this Earth.
He was predeceased by his father Clarence Coates and his mother Iva (Houghtaling) Coates. He is also predeceased by his son Michael Coates, ex-wife Kathleen Coates, daughter in law Nancy German and grandson Joseph Greak. He is survived by his son Edwin Coates, and 5 grandchildren; Sarah, Robert, Tyler, Ashley, and Melissa. Edwin was born in Warwick, NY on December 15th 1939. He served in the US Army.
The family will be holding a celebration of life in Warwick, NY at a later date to be determined.
