Eileen Augusta Gilbert, 94, of Ocala, FL died Friday, June 24, 2016 at Legacy House Hospice.  She was born July 14, 1921 in Barnesville, OH the daughter of Carter Blanchild and Ethel (Reed) Denny.  She graduated from High School and worked as a telephone operator.  She moved to Florida from Ohio and was a member of the Fort King Presbyterian Church.  She was preceded in death by he husband, Chester Norman Gilbert on August 11, 2004.  She is survived by one sister, Betty Greg of Clairsville, OH.  Services are private.
