Eileen Ann (Cafferty) Szylin, beloved wife, mother, and grandmother, passed away on September 28, 2021, at the age of 91. She was born on March 6, 1930, in Providence, Rhode Island, to Ann (McGinity) and James Cafferty.

Eileen found deep joy in her role as a homemaker, raising her two children, John and Ann, and supporting her husband, John, throughout their 71 years of marriage. After John's retirement, the couple embraced life as snowbirds, spending their time between Warwick, RI, and Jensen Beach, FL. Eileen was an avid reader and enjoyed crocheting and sewing. She had a special fondness for collecting trinkets—especially bells and anything adorned with butterflies.

Eileen is survived by her beloved husband, John; her sister, Eleanor; her son, John Szylin II, and daughter-in-law, Doreen; her daughter, Ann, and son-in-law, Wayne Duelfer; her grandchildren—Amanda, Gregory, Jonathan, and Matthew; and her great-granddaughter, Emma.
