Elaine Jane Hixson (81) originally from Ohio, passed away recently in Eustis, FL. Elaine was born on April 21, 1943 to Helen and Ernest Hixson. The family moved to Bradenton, Florida where Elaine attended Manatee High School. She graduated from Florida State University in 1965 with a degree in art and education. She spent her career teaching high school art in Merritt Island and Cocoa High Schools. She was a life-long equestrian and spent many hours riding her horses. In retirement she divided her time between her homes in Cocoa, FL and Jamestown, TN camping and riding her beloved horses. No services are planned at this time.
