Elaine Marie Tucker, 82, of Merritt Island, Florida passed peacefully to her eternal home on Wednesday July 3, 2024, surrounded by her loving children.

Elaine enjoyed life and although she was disabled in her later years, you rarely saw her without a smile.  She loved the warm weather and dreamed of living in the sunshine state.  She permanently moved to Florida in 2002.

To know Elaine was to love her as she accepted everyone as they were and loved others unconditionally.  Throughout her life, she had a love for reading, crime mysteries and was master at crossword puzzles.  She was known for her unique sense of humor, warmth, beautiful green eyes and a sweet smile that will forever reside in our hearts.

Born in Washington, DC, she was the daughter of the late Armand W. & Helen B. Barbeau (Cannon).  She was also predeceased by her beloved husband of 43 years, James Warren Tucker and her beautiful daughter, Robin Lynn Hester.

She is survived by her four children; Deanna Barbeau-Scott (Greg), Dawn Tucker-Kuzniar, James Tucker, Jr., Travis Tucker (Becky); twelve grandchildren; Dale, Leah, Christian, Justice, Teera, Jayla, Jakiah, Olivia, Sarah, Emily, Kamae, Kolonahe and ten great-grandchildren.

Reception and visitation will be held Thursday July 18, 2024, 5:00pm-7:00pm at Baldwin Brothers Funeral Home 2400 S. Washington Avenue Titusville, Florida 32780.

Interment will be Friday July 19, 2024, 1:30pm at the Cape Canaveral National Cemetery 5525 US 1 Mims, Florida 32754.
