Elena Moraima Garcia De Mendoza, 54, passed away at her home in Fort Myers, on May 18, 2021, surrounded by her family. Born January 26, 1967 in Chorrillos, Lima, Peru, she was the daughter of Cecilio Cesar Garcia Ramirez and Isabel Eudosia Villalba Garcia. Elena enjoyed cooking, sewing, watching tennis and volleyball, and spending time with family. Surviving are her loving husband, Carlos Alfonso Laja Mendoza of Fort Myers, FL., mother, Isabel Villalba Garcia, brother, Milton Villalba Garcia, and sister, Zoraida Villalba, all of Lima, Peru, daughters, Almendra Mendoza German of Orlando, FL., and Alexandra Mendoza Garcia of Tallahassee, FL.; along with two grandchildren. Baldwin Brothers Funeral & Cremation Society, Fort Myers, assisted with arrangements.
