Obituary

Elisabeta Iancsik passed away peacefully on July 8, 2025, at the age of 63 in Orlando, Florida, after a courageous battle with cancer.

Born on September 2, 1961, in Nădlac, Romania, to a Slovakian family, Elisabeta's life was a testament to strength, resilience, and boundless determination. After graduating from school, she moved to Italy in her early twenties, where she spent over 25 years building a vibrant life. In Italy, she owned a store importing goods from Romania and worked in wholesale fashion sales, serving clients across Eastern Europe. Her ability to speak five languages helped her connect with people from all walks of life and thrive in every endeavor she pursued.

In pursuit of a better future, Elisabeta made the brave decision to move to the United States with her two children, chasing the American dream. They first settled in Los Angeles, California, where she met her husband, Oscar Moquete. After four years, the family relocated to Orlando, Florida, where she established roots and continued to build a life filled with love and purpose.

Elisabeta's magnetic personality led her to thrive in various sales roles, including becoming a licensed real estate agent. She had a genuine passion for helping others—whether it was finding their dream home or guiding them through important life decisions with warmth and care. Her love for connecting with people from diverse cultures was one of her greatest strengths. Outside of work, Elisabeta enjoyed baking, dancing, fashion, and caring for flowers and plants. Her warmth and creativity touched everyone who knew her.

In August 2023, she was diagnosed with stage four cervical cancer. True to her nature, Elisabeta fought bravely until the very end, never losing her spirit.

She is survived by her beloved children, Patric Zemin (Tomball, Texas) and Deborah Margiotta (Orlando, Florida); her cherished granddaughter, Isabella Zemin; her daughter-in-law, Daina Zemin; and her stepson, Oscar Moquete Jr and stepdaughter Delly Moquete.

Elisabeta's legacy of strength, love, and determination will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved her. She will be deeply missed. Per her wishes, no services will be held. She chose to be cremated and to stay in the home she cherished.
