BROWN Elise Brown, age 71, of Oak Hill, FL passed away May 16, 2018 while in the care of Halifax Health Hospice of Edgewater, FL.  She was born in 1947 in Covington, TN the daughter of Wilford and Elizabeth Culbreath.  Elise is predeceased by: Thomas Tharps, LeRoy Tharps, Vivian Wright, Mary Allen, Lee Wilson, Ernest Carter Culbreath, and Mary Elizabeth Culbreath.  She is survived by loving husband of 46 years, Robert Brown, Jr; 5 children, Curtis Culbreath, Robert Brown III, Jonathan (Cynthia) Brown, amazing daughter, Tanisa Brown and Ellis (Patricia) Brown; 22 grandchildren; 5 great grandchildren;  siblings, Curtis Culbreath, Will Tharps, John Culbreath, James Culbreath, Ellis Culbreath, Bettie Cutler, Mary Simmons, George Culbreath, Brenda Sturgis, Floresteen Williams and Daniel Culbreath ; her very best friends that she took as sisters, Avis Moore and Elena Schramm;  and she was the "second mother" to her eight daughters, Tabatha Wright, Felicia Hankins, Kim Vann, Patricia Gardner, Donyell Chase, Kendra Butler, Shenika Davis and Yolanda Bozeman; many nephews, nieces, cousins, other family and friends. Elise enjoyed fishing, gospel, blues and cooking big meals for her family every Sunday. She was a loving caring and nurturing wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother who worked in Home Health taking care of the many individuals who needed and appreciated her help and devotion. A Celebration of Elise's Life will be held at 11 AM on Saturday, June 23, 2018 in the Macedonia Missionary Baptist Church, 183 Shiloh Road, Oak Hill, FL 32759.  There will be a repass to follow the memorial service.
