Elizabeth G. Byrne, from Ormond Beach, Florida, passed away on May 7, 2023, at Halifax Health Hospice Care Center with her loving sister at her side after suffering from a stroke. She was 80 years old.

Liz is survived by her identical twin sister, Edie Byrne, two nephews and one niece and their spouses from Totowa, New Jersey. She was preceded in death by her parents, Bernard J. Byrne and Mildred P. Byrne, and one brother, Bernard E. Byrne.

Liz moved to Ormond Beach in 1962 from New Jersey after vacationing in Ormond Beach as a little girl. She retired from General Electric Co. in 1994 after a 32-year career as a Cost Estimator. Liz enjoyed music from the 1950s, 60s, and 70s. She was a member of the Corvette Cruisers of Greater Daytona. She made many friends through her love of antique and classic cars.

Liz requested not to have a funeral or memorial service.

As a closing note, Liz would ask you to remember to sing in the sunshine and laugh every day.
