Elizabeth Barnett Damico, born December 11, 1917 in Polk County Tennessee, died on Saturday at the age of 98 in South Daytona, Florida where she made her home with family members. Elizabeth was orphaned at an early age and raised by relatives in Etowah, Tennessee. Shortly after graduating high school she moved to Florida, where she met and married her husband, eventually locating in Wilbur-by-the-Sea where she lived for more than 50 years. She was preceded in death by her husband Joe Damico and brothers, Lake Barnett, J.H. Barnett, and Jody Barnett. She is survived by her sister-in-law Johnnie Barnett of Delano, Tennessee and several nephews and nieces located in Tennessee and Virginia. Consistent with her wishes there will be no service.
