Elizabeth passed away peacefully, finally rejoicing with the Lord, her late son, Mother, and pre- deceased siblings on July 20, 2023.

Betty, as her friends and family knew her, Was the epitome of a true love story, Survived by her husband Larry Smith of nearly 60 years ..her sons Frank, Bobby, Philip, Jimmy Smith. One of her sons was laid to rest during her lifetime, William. Betty was the eldest daughter of 13 siblings. She was born in Oklahoma in 1943 and moved to Philadelphia with her parents early in life. She was also a long-time resident of Port Charlotte, Florida in the last decades of her life. She was the matriarch of her family, she was strong, resilient and very opinionated. She truly was the glue that held her family together. Her sons gave her 9 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren, Stephanie, Samantha, Brian, William, Logan, Kayci, Zach, Aiden, Robert and Ryan. Stephanie's son, Liam & Logan's son, Talon & Williams' daughters, Kristelynn and Paisleigh.

She loved each and every one of her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren like no other, never forgetting a holiday, a birthday and always being a source of comfort to each and every person she loved.

She found peace in cooking, cleaning, and caring deeply for those surrounding her, even when mistakes were made.

She lived every day loving her family and friends unconditionally.

She was blunt, honest, and the hardest working mother and housewife you could meet.

A true believer in the lord, a caring, compassionate woman, mother, grandmother, and wife.

She will be greatly missed and loved forevermore.
