ELLEN MAE DALY, (Struble) 86 of New Smyrna Beach passed away peacefully at home surrounded by family on November 15, 2023.

Ellen was born in Newark, New Jersey. She moved to Cliffwood Beach where she raised her family. She then moved to Pittsburg, New Hampshire in 1979, and finally to New Smyrna Beach in the 1980's, where she lived the remainder of her life. Ellen was an avid fisherman and liked fast cars and country music and her beloved Chihuahua, Bella. She also had a passion for girls' softball and coached the local team in Cliffwood Beach, NJ to county championships.

Her love was her family of 4 children, Ellen Lamela, Coleen Benson, Kathleen Luper, and Joseph Daly. She was the proud Grandmother of 5 Grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren. Ellen was pre-deceased by her husband Eugene "Joe" Daly a decorated Korean War Veteran and her Son-In-law Anthony "Tony" Lamela.

Friends may call Tuesday, November 21, 2023, from 9:30 am-11:30 am at Baldwin Brothers Funeral Home 1 N. Causeway New Smyrna Beach, Fl .  Funeral Service will follow at 11:30am.  Burial is private. The family requests in lieu of flowers a donation to your local or state heart association in Ellen's memory.
