Ellen Marie Lubniewski Oliva, 74, of Lindenhurst, New York, passed away on Monday, August 31, 2026, at Tidewell Hospice House in Port Charlotte, Florida, surrounded by her family. Ellen was born on March 13, 1952, in Lindenhurst, New York, to the late Edward Lubniewski and Sophie Benson.

In addition to her parents, Ellen is preceded in death by her late brother, Joseph Lubniewski.

Ellen is survived by son, Patrick Oliva and wife Julia Oliva of Port Charlotte, FL; daughter Tara Ardizzone and husband Lou Georgalas of Commack, NY; daughter Nicole Oliva of Port St. Lucie, FL; son Michael Oliva and wife Charlotte Oliva of Leesburg, GA; grandchildren: Kayla Johnson, Will Levasseur, Preston Ardizzone, Gia Ardizzone, Michael Sturkie, Jayce D.

Ellen worked in the hospitality industry for over 20 years. She loved her grandchildren, her dog Oreo, and her late dog Buddy dearly. She always enjoyed cooking her famous potato pancakes for her family. She enjoyed listening to country music. Ellen liked to play lotto everyday and would always say she was going to win big and help her kids. Ellen also loved to play cards, dominos, and rummikub with her family. She will be missed, but precious memories will forever remain in the hearts of those who knew and loved her.

Ellen Oliva did not wish to have a service.
