Elliot M. Ruben of Cape Coral, Florida, passed away peacefully on February 21, 2026, in Cape Coral, Florida, at the age of 76, following a courageous battle with cancer.  He was born in Minneapolis, Minnesota to Lewis Ruben and Jesse Stamm. He graduated from the University of Miami in 1972.

On December 24, 1981, Elliot married the love of his life, Becky Kundinger in Minneapolis. Together they built a strong and loving family. In 2012, Elliot and Becky relocated to Cape Coral, Florida, where they embraced a new chapter surrounded by sunshine, community, and family.

Elliot worked in real estate for many years, earning the trust and respect of clients. Beyond his professional life, he found great joy in volunteering his time teaching golf to young adults, generously sharing not only his skills but also his patience and encouragement.

He is survived by his devoted wife, Becky; his two sons, Chris of Cape Coral and Anthony of Miami; his cherished granddaughter, and his sister Dana and his brother Stephen. He was preceded in death by his brother Ronnie.

Elliot will be remembered for his steadfast love for his family, his commitment to his community, and the quiet strength with which he faced life’s challenges. His legacy lives on in the lives he touched and the family he so deeply loved.
