Eloise Griffith, of Bradenton, Florida, passed away peacefully on June 3, 2026. Born in Cuba, Mattie lived a life defined by love, devotion, and an unwavering commitment to her family. Eloisa shared an extraordinary marriage with her beloved husband, Bruce Griffith, for 60 wonderful years. Together they built a home filled with love, kindness, and cherished memories that will continue to inspire those who knew them.

For more than 20 years, Eloisa dedicated her career to JCPenney, where she was known for her strong work ethic and warm spirit. While she took great pride in her work, her greatest joy was always her family. She devoted her life to caring for and supporting those she loved, placing family at the center of everything she did.

Eloisa was preceded in death by her father, Gustavo Quesada, and her mother, Mirella Escalong.

She is lovingly remembered by her devoted husband of 60 years, Bruce Griffith; her daughter, Vivian McCoy; her cherished granddaughter, Gabrielle Lavalle (Jacob); and many extended family members and dear friends whose lives were touched by her kindness, generosity, and unconditional love.

A Celebration of Life honoring Eloisa's life will be held on Saturday, July 11, 2026, at 2:00 p.m. at Bible Baptist Church. Family and friends are warmly invited to gather in remembrance, to celebrate her remarkable life, and to share in the love and memories she leaves behind.

Eloisa's gentle heart, enduring strength, and selfless love will be deeply missed but forever remembered by all who had the privilege of knowing her. Though she is no longer with us, her legacy lives on through the family she treasured and the countless lives she touched with her compassion, grace, and love
