Elsie was born in Birmingham, Alabama to William Clyde Hitt and Johnnie Riddle Hitt. She was preceded in death by her husband, George Wesley Fogleman II. She is survived by her children, Joan Pritchett(Rick), Lisa Kellas(Lance), George Fogleman III(Brenda), James Fogleman III(Stacey), and Virginia Harris(Tim). She is also survived by her sisters-in-law, Janet Hitt and Irene Townsend, and her many grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Elsie loved serving the Lord, Jesus Christ and she loved her Church family at McGregor Baptist Church. She honored both of them with her prayers, presence, her gifts, and her service.

In lieu of flowers, the family would prefer for donations to go to Samaritan's Purse which was one of her favorite charities.

A memorial service with the family will be at 2:00 pm on Saturday October, 19th at Amavida at Lakes Park, 7669 Calistoble Loop, Fort Myers, Florida 33907.
