Elynor J. Goodwin (Jane), 81, passed away peacefully on April 9, 2021 in her home, at Gulf Coast Village in Cape Coral, FL.  Born September 26, 1939 in Chattanooga, TN, she was the daughter of the late Glen W. Smotherman and Mildred E. Cathcart.

She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother.  She will be deeply missed by her family and friends.  Jane leaves behind her husband, Robert Goodwin; her son, Robert Goodwin, Jr. and his wife Lynne Goodwin of Higganum, CT; and four grandchildren, Parker Goodwin, Tyler Goodwin; Jamie Little and Megan Little.  She is also survived by her brother, Glen Smotherman Jr. and is predeceased by her sister Key Smotherman Harris. A Memorial Service will be held at a later date.  In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations in Jane Goodwin's memory be directed to Hope Hospice, 9470 HealthPark Circle, Fort Myers, FL 33908.
