Emilene Margy Holt, lovingly known as Emmy, was born on June 9, 1935, and passed away on October 21, 2026.

Emilene dedicated her career to caring for others as a Registered Nurse, working in several hospitals and nursing homes throughout her professional life. Her caring nature extended beyond her work, as she was always willing to lend a helping hand to anyone in need.

In her free time, Emmy enjoyed putting together puzzles, reading, and playing Bingo and Bunco. She was also a member of St. Stephen’s Lutheran Church, where she shared in her faith and community.

Emilene is survived by her daughters, Joy Pensala (Scott) and Judy Roemer (Robert); her son, David Holt; five grandchildren, Holly, Amy, Brett, Blair, and Jennifer; and nine great-grandchildren, Trenton, Madison, Greyson, Emilene, Brooklyn, Brady, Isabella, Joseph, Jasper, and David.

She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Gerald Holt, and her son, Robert Holt.

Emilene will be remembered for her compassionate heart, her willingness to help others, and the love she shared with her family and those fortunate enough to know her. Her memory will live on through the many lives she touched.
