Emma Jean Arline Maddox "Momma Jean"
Mrs. Emma Jean Maddox affectionately known as "Momma Jean" was born February 14, 1936 in Ormond Beach, Fl. to the Late Bertha Smith and Mack Austin Arline. Emma attended school in Ormon d, and she was a member of Historic New Bethel AME Church. Emma enjoyed doing Word Search Puzzles and sitting on her porch talking with her Neighbors. She also enjoyed and loved her Grandchildren &God Children. They brighten up her life and you could see & hear the joy in her. Emma was preceded in death by her Husband, Herman Maddox, her Son, Willie A. Arline, her Son-in-law, John Watson, Sr. & Brother, Alex Patterson. She leaves to cherish her memories: one Son: Ronald Atkins, Two Daughters: Jerry Watson, Lenore (Steven) Broughton. One Sister: Beatrice Edwards, Half Sister: Elmira Gainey, One Niece: Maxine Gray (Eugene). Two Sister in Laws: Gloria Maddox & Bessie Patterson (Buffalo, New York); 2 Cousins: Buddy Corbett & Clarence Corbett (Mulberry, Fl.) 6 Grandchildren; 26 Great Grandchildren whom she loved very much; multiple god children and a host of nephews, nieces, other sorrowing Family & Friends.
