Eric "Rick" Gregory Farron (71) passed on to glory Sunday, April 11, 2021 at 10:30 a.m. peacefully in the ICU unit at Halifax Hospital. He was surrounded by family and friends who were in and out of his room the 2 weeks he was there after a long battle with multiple diseases.

Rick was born March 24, 1950 to Marie Gabrielle Farron and Thomas William Farron. Rick was also an organ donor and touched even more lives in his death.  He loved his worked as a machine builder but was forced to retire because of his ongoing health challenges.  He loved sports, bicycle riding and golfing with family and friends.

Rick is survived by his spouse, Janice; daughter, Kristen Farron Hyslope (Jon) of Michigan; son, Kevin of Michigan; sister, Carla Barrett (John) of Michigan; brother, Drew Farron (Michelle) of Idaho. Rick was by predeceased by his brother, Tom Woodard (Betty).

There will be a Gathering and Memorial Service at Baldwin Brothers Funeral and Cremation Society, 1185 W Granada Blvd., #11, Ormond Beach, Florida 32174, starting at 1 p.m. on Saturday, April 24, 2021.  In lieu of flowers, please make any donations to Halifax Health Medical Center, 303 N Clyde Morris Road, Daytona Beach, Florida 32114.  There will be a reception afterwards to be announced at the service.  There will also be a memorial service held in Michigan this summer.
