Eric was born on September 10, 1964, in Baltimore, MD. to parents William and Harriet Lauterbach who have predeceased him. Eric is survived by his long-time companion, Barbara Rusin, his daughter Tori Lauterbach of Sanford Florida, his sister Tracy Lauterbach Dennis, and her son Adam Lauterbach of Berlin, MD.

Eric attended Chesapeake High School in Pasadena, MD. and graduated in 1982. He also attended the Arundel Institute of Technology from 1982 to 1984 and graduated with a degree in drafting. Eric's career was working as a superintendent and a heavy equipment operator with several large construction companies in Maryland and Florida and currently was working for Foshee Construction, Mineola Florida. Eric had a passion for boats and saltwater fishing, relaxing on the beach and enjoying time with family and friends playing cards.
