On July 17, 2022, Eric Naunapper Sr., 84, passed away peacefully surrounded by family in Fort Myers, FL. Eric was born and raised in Chicago, IL. He proudly served 2 years in the US Army. While earning his Bachelor's degree he worked as a purchasing agent for Kar Products for 36 years in Des Plaines, IL. He was an avid reader and enjoyed time at the library.

Eric and his wife were world travelers. He had a great sense of humor and was a kind and loving loving family man. Coming from Chicago, he was a loyal Cubs and Bears fan. Eric and his wife retired to Fort Myers in 2003 and fell in love with the area, spending time with family, meeting people and making new friends.

Eric is the son of the late Herman and Frieda Nau napper and is survived by his loving wife of 47 years Marilynn Nau napper, his son Eric Nau napper Jr., daughter Donna (Fred) Josellis, daughter Linda (Mark) Valentine, daugh­ter Julie Welch, late son Robert Richiardi, 9 grandchildren and 5 great­grandchildren.

A Celebration of Life will be held on August 13, 2022 at Zion Lutheran Church, 7401 Winkler Road, Fort Myers, FL 33919 at 11 :00 am. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions to the American Heart Association, 7272 Greenville Ave., Dallas, TX 75231 or www.heart.org would be appreciated.
